TEAM FORMED

University of Washington (UW) undergraduate students Sam, Ruby and Abe form a research team with Dr. James Lai to develop a urinary biomarker concentrator to improve the sensitivity of urine-based tuberculosis (TB) diagnostic assay.

AWARD-WINNING IDEAS

The osmotic biospecimen processor receives numerous awards from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), VentureWell, and the University of Washington (UW).
