Feature Highlights
Tly Technologies' biospecimen processor uses the osmotic pressure difference between a biofluid specimen and a polymer solution across a semipermeable membrane to simultaneously concentrate biomolecules of interest and remove unwanted sample content. The unique device design spreads the biofluid specimen into an ultra-thin fluid layer, enabling rapid diffusion of water molecules and small particles across the membrane. The membrane pore size can be selected to retain biomolecules of interest, and the device can be scaled to accommodate microliter-to-liter range of initial and final sample volumes. The device form factor can be tailored to specific use cases and sample collection mechanism can be easily integrated with downstream processes.
